字幕アーカイブサイト（opensubtitles.org）から字幕を入手する。
映像ファイルと結合の際に、字幕フレームレートをメモしておく。

■ 字幕ファイル編集
字幕と映像のタイミングを合わせるために、字幕ファイルを編集（Subtitle Workshop）し、SSA形式(SubStation Alpha)で保存する

■ 字幕と映像ファイルの結合
字幕と映像の結合（VirtualDub）する（参考：http://www.divxland.org/permanentsubtitling.php）。
[Video] -> [Filters...], and Click the Add... button.
Select the subtitler filter and click OK.
[Video] -> [Compression], and choose the Xvid MPEG-4 Codec.
[File] -> [Save as AVI...]
